This is the old Eryndor spear design using a bandshoppe core. This used to work with Poof footballs, but because those aren’t a thing anymore, I’ve found that the Hedstrom 8” Turbo footballs will work great and last longer than the nerf footballs (They are a bit too squishy and break down fast).

I still use this design with a few minor tweaks to the cover. It’s heavier than modern spears but works lovely when it comes to pushing through spears, shields, and people. It’s a bully, and great.
