I designed the mask to be made using 10 oz (4mm) leather, though you can get away with going down to 8 oz and still maintain the structural integrity.
Most of this mask comes to life during the water forming process after it has been stitched together, especially in regards to cheeks, brow, and forehead shape.
This design fits faces around 10 3/4 inches across going from just before your ear to tip of nose to just before the opposite ear, so it fits most but can be adjusted by changing your printer settings from actual size to larger or smaller to suit. If you have a larger face, I’d suggest printing it out at 105-110% size for that extra inch.
The top strap isn't entirely needed for this mask, but if you LARP and are looking to take the field with it, the top strap will help keep it supported and in place while running.
